Its maximum permissible indication error for length measurement can reach 2.5+3.0L/1000 um and measurement repeatability precision can be 1.5um. Process control — Operators should wipe and clean the workpiece, fix it onto an inspection tool, and fix the workpiece with the inspection tool onto the worktable of the measuring machine; according to the measuring requirements, complete the verification of measuring probe in every angle and then conduct offline programming and simulation run or carry out pre-stored measuring program to inspect parallelism, flop, verticality and position. The results of inspection may be printed and also directly stored or simultaneously store the whole measuring process and program. For dimension data with over-tolerance, it can be analyzed by using Form-Error graph error report. The workpiece can be aligned to the position set by users correctly and automatically by using CAD geometry measuring. PS-DMIS can download 3D CAD model from any CAD system. Click CAD surface data points with mouse and automatically obtain normal value and vector direction, inspect and analyze the shape of workpiece by defining comparison with mathematical model. Seamless connection with CAD data can be realized and also the input and output of iges, step, DXF and Parasolid XT format CAD data, recurrence of CAD mathematical model entity and wire frame, layering and coloring of CAD mathematical model, input of multi CAD mathematical model, CAD mathematical model imaging, automatic identification of CAD mathematical model theoretical elements and processing of point cloud data. Meanwhile, graphic workpiece model and analog simulation of measuring path can be finished, which enables users to clearly understand the entire operation process of machine through graphs and modify in time so as to avoid errors or collision incurred during online measurement. The particular “pull and release” operation makes measurement easy and convenient.
